Colin Harris co-founded PMC-Sierra, a Nasdaq listed semiconductor company, and was Chief Operating Officer from 2005 to 2015. His roles at PMC included managing operations, central engineering and business units.
Colin was an elected member of the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) Board of Directors from 2005 to 2012. He currently serves on the advisory board of the Design for E-Beam (DFEB) initiative and is a member of the board at Redlen Technologies, a medical imaging company. Prior to his time at PMC Mr. Harris had various roles at Mitel Semiconductor.
Colin received a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics from the University of British Columbia in 1980 and is the holder of 5 patents relating to semiconductors.
