Scott has an extensive background in investment and finance. He is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Alexander Beard USA, LLC, a cross-border investment firm, specializing in international investment strategies and cross-border clients.

Previously, Scott served as Chairman of the Allied Pilots’ Group Pension; overseeing $8 Billion in assets. He was involved in numerous airline restructures and merger activities including the merger of American Airlines and US Airways.

Scott’s career began in high tech. He started as a Spacecraft Technician for Ford Aerospace and Communications working on the Intelsat 5 telecommunication project. Later he became an Airline Pilot and Captain flying in North America, Europe, Middle East, and the Pacific for TWA and American Airlines.

A member and past president of the Redwood City Rotary Club, Scott worked to create an aqueduct project bringing much-needed water to a village in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco.

Scott earned a BA from San Francisco State University, an MBA from City University of Seattle, and an investment management certificate from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School of Business).
