Michael Kline

Michael has spent the last 20 years as a founder and chief operating officer of several leading companies in the local advertising, e-commerce, and digital marketing industries.  A founding team member and COO at ReachLocal, Inc. (NASDAQ: RLOC), a leading provider of online marketing services, Michael helped oversee the company’s growth to $500 million in annual revenue with 2,000 employees spanning 60 offices in 8 countries.

Michael incubated ClubLocal, an on demand home services company later rebranded as Serviz, Inc.  As President, he led the expansion of their home services platform to over 35 markets and 10,000 service professionals.

Previously, Michael was a founding member of online games company, WorldWinner; online classifieds publisher, Recycler.com; and employment advertising platform, AdStar.com.

An operator and entrepreneur at heart, Michael currently advises a roster of start-up companies looking to scale their businesses and raise additional capital.

Michael graduated Summa Cum Laude from Harvard College with a B.A. in literature.  He is a current member of Young President’s Organization (YPO).  Michael loves tennis, skiing and still holds out hope that he will write the Great American novel one day.  Until then, more start-ups.
