There are a number of developing architectures for both high performance and hybrid cloud storage that could have a big impact on media workflows. These include new architectures that take advantage of NVMe characteristics; provide end-to-end private cloud services; or enable data movement between on-premise and public cloud storage. This talk will cover my own “cool vendors” list of emerging companies and architectures that should be on the radar of every M&E company right now.
