Fred Tummonds Brings Broad Experience in Cloud and Analytics To The Company

 — Layer 7 Technologies, provider of security and connectivity solutions for the new open enterprise, today announced that Fred Tummonds has joined Layer 7 as vice president of engineering to help grow the development organization internationally and drive new cloud service initiatives.

Tummonds brings more than 17 years of experience to his new role at Layer 7, where he will leverage his deep expertise in business intelligence and analytics for cloud-based services to help the company grow out its on-premise and cloud based offerings.

Formerly, Tummonds was CTO of Indicee, an award-winning business intelligence platform for the cloud. Prior to his work there, he led various engineering and technology teams at Business Objects and Crystal Reports.
