The new Migration Guide represents a significant update to Layer 7’s already popular Cisco migration program, providing enterprises with a step-by-step methodology designed to ensure maximal speed and efficiency for AXG replacement projects with minimal disruption. A key component of the Migration Guide is the Layer 7 Cisco AXG Migration Tool, which is delivered as a policy-based utility embedded in Layer 7’s SecureSpan Gateway. The Migration Tool is able to read an AXG export file and efficiently populate the SecureSpan appliance with corresponding proxies and policies, minimizing developer effort and speeding time to implementation.
