Young has an extensive background of more than 20 years of experience in operating leadership, knowledge and expertise with EMR companies, software engineering and management of large technical operations teams.

He began his career in healthcare at Blue Cross and Blue Shield where he worked in membership management and actuarial systems. As his career progressed, he later oversaw and managed product delivery and transaction services at Medic Computer Systems. He expanded his work by becoming vice president at WebMD of product management. During his time at WebMD, he held multiple senior level executive positions focusing on implementation, training, development, delivery and support of internal systems and infrastructure. After Young’s broad endeavors with WebMD, he was appointed chief operating officer and senior vice president of program delivery at Staywell Health Management; in his time, he reduced operating expenses by 32% over two years and implemented process improvements that decreased implementation costs by 27%.
