Former Sutherland Healthcare CFO with Nearly 20 Years of Experience Joins PatientSafe in Creating a Platform of Growth
SAN DIEGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–PatientSafe Solutions, a leader in smart point-of-care mobile solutions for healthcare, announced today the appointment of Balaji Sekar to the position of chief financial officer. As PatientSafe continues to expand nationally and internationally, Sekar’s financial experience will enhance PatientSafe’s vision of interconnected networks by improving patient safety, clinical workflow tools, communications and transitions of care.

With nearly 20 years in financial and business strategy, Sekar brings experience relative to work he’s done with technology and healthcare networks. He began his career working in financial planning and analysis then transitioned into healthcare, working as CFO for Sutherland Healthcare Solutions, and most recently as interim CFO for Sutherland Global Services. Working with an organization with more than $1 billion in annual revenue for the past 10 years has allowed Sekar to manage large operations in his various roles and growing responsibilities, expanding his entrepreneurial background to grow and run a business within a business. Sekar’s technical expertise in cloud-based technology and technology-enabled solutions will foster a platform of growth for PatientSafe and its shareholders.
